The "I Have A Dream" Foundation empowers children in low-income communities to achieve higher education by providing them with guaranteed tuition support and equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and habits they need to succeed in college. The Foundation has served over 15,000 students and currently supports 36 programs across the U.S. By helping Dreamers reach their full potential, the Foundation is supporting their move to a different academic and life trajectory, while having a broader impact on the students' families and the generations that follow. At many of the Foundation’s sites, they have doubled or tripled the local high school graduation and college participation rates.
Clarendon has been engaged with the Foundation since 2009 and provides support in numerous ways, including financial resources, board service, and volunteering. We work to help the Foundation achieve its mission and realize its vision for all children to have an opportunity to earn a college degree and fully capitalize on their talents, aspirations, and dreams of fulfilling careers and productive global citizenship.
